Reglementarea regimului juridic de proprietate al furnizorilor de servicii media potrivit art. 28 din cod prin limitarea numărului de licențe deținute și a pachetului de control întro societate deținătoare de licențe de emisie, urmărind neadmiterea concentrării excesive a proprietății in domeniul mass - media, la fel are drept scop neadmiterea formării situației dominante in formarea opiniei publice, cit și neadmiterea situațiilor anticoncurențiale pe piața serviciilor media audiovizuale. Pentru asigurarea transparen{ei proprietății furnizorilor de servicii media, conform art.21 din Codul Serviciilor Media Audiovizuale, fumizorii de servicii media au obligația de a asigura accesul simplu, direct și permanent al utilizatorilor serviciilor media audiovizuale la cel pulin următoarele categorii de informalii : - denumirea, statutul juridic și sediul acestuia; - numele reprezentanților legali; - proprietarii beneficiari care dețin, direct sau indirect, controlul asupra fumizorului de servicii media: - lista acționarilor și asociaților pînă la nivel de persoană fiziciă, cu exceplia acționarilor și asociaților care sint societăți pe acțiuni cu acțiuni la purtător sau listate la bursele de valori intemaționale; - persoanele din organul de conducere și, dupn caz, de supraveghere, precum și funcțiile definute de acestea; - persoanele responsabile de politica editorială; - datele de contact ale fumizorului de servicii media, inclusiv adresa juridică, adresele pentru corespondență (după caz), adresa poștei electronice și a paginii web oficiale, la care acesta poate fi contactat rapid, direct și efectiv.
